Oakdene

Oakdene is a 230 acre property situated just outside Ocean Grove on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula. Our vineyard was established in 2001, with plantings of Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, followed by Sau- vignon Blanc in 2002.

From the beginning the aim was to produce ready to drink quality wines that will improve over time. The second consideration was that the wines should be elegant to match the modern Australian cuisine. The dedication to excellence in the vineyard and the winery produced immediate results with our first vintage (2005) Pinot Noir and Shiraz being awarded medals at the 2006 Geelong Wine Show. The following year the 2006 Elizabeth Chardonnay was awarded wine of show.

Oakdene wines are available to sample and purchase from our cellar door daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Oakdene's restaurant, awarded Best Restaurant in a Winery Nationally at the Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence in 2010, was opened in 2004 and is a must visit destination on the Bellarine Peninsula. Open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and Wednesday to Saturday for dinner, Oakdene offers modern Australian and contemporary cuisine and extensive wine list.

Oakdene is available 7 days for conferences, functions, weddings and other events, offering private rooms, the terrace and eclectic, lush art garden for all sized events.
